Are you willing to jump in and tackle a vast array of projects that may range from styling to production to illustration? This is an opportunity to not only expand your portfolio with fun, real-world projects, but to learn about various parts of the design process and all of the stuff that takes place behind the scenes.
What will be expected of me? > Art direction and Concepting > Social media graphics for Staci Janik Studio promotions > Design for future shop & e-commerce > Assisting with design, research, illustration, branding, digital, environmental, web & print
What will I get out of this internship? > Behind the scenes view of freelancing: clients, pricing, process & techniques > Experience that reaches across digital and print
What might get me some bonus points? > Knowledge of hand lettering techniques > Quickbooks! > Can you code?
Where is this internship located? You must live in Atlanta and be A-OK with working or meeting in my home office
Is this paid? FOR SURE!
Will I get a full-time job when the internship is over? I'm a freelancer and not technically employed by a company so this means you'll be brought on as a contractor. I may continue to hire you on a contract basis after your internship if the fit is right but I (sadly) cannot offer anyone a full-time position. Let me know if you have any questions about this.
If you can imagine possibilities for what the studio can become, enjoy collaborating, know the city pretty well, have good taste, love the Atlanta food community and don't mind working on all kinds of graphix — this role may be for you.
